Special Thanks

Jake and Roger at Bad Fast Motorsports, want to thank everyone for all the help to get started rebuilding the business and trucks again. God willing, we will be ready for the 2009 season. There is a lot of work to do, but as soon as we get cleaned up and a building up, we can start on the trucks.

We have had many donations of spare parts and equipment that racers were not using or had extra. Thanks

Names of doners to be listed soon

2009 Optima logo

2009 is starting to come together. With the help of may races and friends, we have been able to start building a new truck. The main frame is done and the cage is being fabricated and installed this week. Roger purchased a different truck to race in Stock- Truck this year. With the gremlins for last year behind us and the support of sporsors like Optima Battery and Goodyear Tire we should be ready to make the opening race.

There are some photos of the new trucks on the Photo page and more are coming in the next couple of days.

Again thanks to everyone who has come forward and helped us out.

Please take time to visit our sponsors web page and consider purchasing their products. The sponsors help make off-road racing happen.

2008

2008 was an absolutely crazy year. We started out fast and after getting the first race gremlins behind us we ran faster lap times than either of us had before. Jake had rolled the truck at Bark River and spent the next couple weeks fixing it. Roger lost a motor first race out and went looking for a new engine builder. Jake and Roger both used new power plants from THE RACE SHOP at Seymour, a new engine builder. Both motors went the entire season. Roger had a few problems with power steering and axle wind up that resulted in broken u-joints and eventually power steering leak that caused a brief fire at Crandon while being driven by Rob Naughton.

Fire, Fire, Fire

In the early morning hours of Nov. 21st, a fire was discovered by a passer by. By the time the fire department arrived at the scene the entire building was engulfed in fire. The fire consumed everything in it's path. When all over, there was nothing left. The fire was a total loss. Two off-road trucks were in the building, at the time of the fire, along with a lot of tools, hoists, spare parts, tires, wheels, equipment and stored materials and vehicles.
